JP CrossFit is a neighborhood gym, with many of our members living in close proximity to Forest Hills in southern Boston. At JPCF we want to offer you a supportive community while encouraging you to become a life-long mover.
We think that exercise is a vulnerable act and so it is important to us that we are intentional about creating an inclusive and welcoming gym environment. We’re committed to continually crafting a space where folks of all races, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and economic backgrounds feel welcomed and wanted. We invite athletes with disabilities, injuries, and other body-related limitations or concerns to reach out to us; our goal is to make fitness fun and accessible to everyone!
Whether you’re a seasoned athlete getting back into the swing of things, or you’ve never exercised a day in your life, our highly trained staff of coaches can meet you where you are to help you grow into a fitter human.
CrossFit is a group training program designed to deliver fitness that is broad, general, and inclusive. CrossFit is “constantly varied functional movements”, meaning you’re never doing the same thing two days in a row, and the exercises we do are meant to help you navigate your everyday life.
We combine cardio conditioning, gymnastics, and lifting in an exercise program that will prepare you for any physical challenge you may encounter, be it picking up a toddler, wrangling a pup, playing pick-up basketball, or fire rescue with lives on the line. CrossFit is designed to be a challenge–no matter what your starting point. Each exercise will be adjusted to fit your ability so you can complete workouts alongside other athletes in your class. You will see quantifiable results regardless of what your current fitness level may be.
