From basketball, track, ski racing, and rugby, from a young age Audrey has played sports and craved competition. Looking for a gym to participate in powerlifting, she stumbled upon JPCF and fell in love with all they had to offer. Developing an upper extremity neurological disorder later in life she was nervous to exercise and wasn’t sure if she could push herself to the limits she did before. JPCF provided her with a supportive community, adaptive equipment, and encouragement to help her compete in CrossFit, Powerlifting, and Weightlifting. Now Audrey is an adaptive athlete, lifting barbells with one arm and pushing herself to learn new techniques and skills regardless of her disability. As a coach Audrey wants everyone to feel welcome and challenged in their workouts no matter what their background is, pushing athletes to do their very best and push beyond their own perceived limits. Outside of the gym Audrey enjoys petting cats (her own and the neighborhoods), skiing, and singing.
