Our $5 Community WOD is held on Saturdays at 9:30am and Sundays at 11am. These workouts welcome the whole community, from experienced athletes to prospective members looking to try out their first class. We come together to get sweaty and have fun on the weekend!
After a short warm-up, we’ll stretch as a group, and usually play a game—medball tennis is a favorite! After that, we’ll go over each of the movements in our workout, explaining range of motion and scaling options, and then jump on in! The movements that we use in our Community WODs are mostly bodyweight-based, and don’t require any highly technical skills. In the case that we do have a movement you aren’t comfortable doing, we’re happy to find you an alternative!
Try to arrive about 15 minutes before the start of class. We’ll want time to get you checked in, give you a quick tour of the gym, and set you up with a coach to walk you through a warm-up.
Wear comfortable clothes for working out, something that lets you move freely. You might also want to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated, and your $5 for the drop-in fee, but other than that, just bring a positive attitude!
No need to be! Our Community WODs are specifically designed to be accessible to anyone, regardless of athletic background, physical ability, or experience with CrossFit.
