We are always looking for coaches who share our values of creating a more inclusive and diverse fitness community. If you’d like to work with us, get in touch! We are actively seeking and will prioritize applicants who represent diversity. BIPOC, LGBTQIA, HAES, Adaptive…that’s not to say that you have to ‘check a box’ to be a coach here (we’re not fans of tokenization). But in order to effect change we must actively seek and prioritize folks who help advance diversification of ideas and experiences around fitness–and in particular CrossFit.
At JPCF we want to elevate the professionalism surrounding CrossFit, and specifically the CrossFit coach. As such, we believe in providing our full time coaches with a salary that enables them to focus on all-things CrossFit and this gym. As a salaried, full time coach, you’re expected to not only coach classes, but participate in all aspects of running a gym, with the eventual goal of becoming a co-head coach/manager. As such, you will be involved in the following (this list is not exhaustive)
We are looking for someone who is driven, collaborative, and passionate about CrossFit as a profession. We strongly believe in collaboration and transparent communication and need someone who is willing to put forth ideas, compromise, and share in responsibility. This person must share our vision of inclusivity in fitness and must be willing to learn tools of inclusivity, especially in respect to the LGBTQIA+ population. We are excited to invite coaches from underrepresented backgrounds, specifically coaches who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ population, and/or who identify as a person of color.
